Trip to Lake Havasu/ Colorado River! Anyone interested?

I have been going to Lake Havasu and the Colorado River off and on for 40 years. The water is very clear up lake and into the Colorado river. Water temp about 80 deg. Air about 100 but can hit a very dry 110 deg.
The river goes from Lake Havasu to Laughlin(50+ miles). Passing thru Topock Gorge And that is only about 10 miles up river.
Besides the boating and scenery hanging at the "Sand Bar" just below Topock is a must."
Also next to the London Bridge is another popular spot to rest your spine and beach your boat under the shade trees. Watching whats going on. And of course Copper Canyon cliff jumping is always worth a look. Great place to wakeboard.
This place is not as crazy as internet videos show unless you go on a holiday.
In Sept the air cools just enough but the water is still very warm.
Weekdays are more quiet with fewer boats, weekends can get more crazy and the water more choppy.
Motels can be cheap $50 per night for 4 adults or up to $200 depending.
If anyone is interested reply and those that are interested can have input on when and where.

Sounds like fun - I've got a few zodiacs that I would love to get out there before having to offload them.

Still viable??

FYI... I've got 470's/530's/& 580's with great outboards! This would be a killer trip with the right equipment.

I have been going about once a month sense I got my new outboard.
PM me and we can see if a time works for both. Once a date is set perhaps it will interest others.

Just got back from Lake Havasu. Great trip. My boat gets a lot of looks. This lake has a lot of over the top speed boats as well as every variation of "boat" out there. But after 4 trips with my new Futura I have not seen another sib or even rib except for the Sheriff boat!
When in heave chop I hide behind any boat going slow enough for me to follow in their wake. Trying to run at least 20mph. It always surprises them once I can move out from their wake and hit it. Going from 20 to 35 takes about 2 sec.
In the two days running sixty+ miles I used 15 gallon of gas. My last boat would have used at least 80 gal.
And the Sib is way more fun. More work trying to find the smoothest path but that has become part of the fun. This trip was my Buddys first in this boat. He wasn't too sure how the new "raft" was going to work out but he agrees its way more fun than just going fast in a big boat.
At Lake Havasu the water was about 83 deg. Up river it was a brisk 79 deg. The air was a very dry 113. The high heat isn't even noticeable once on the water. If anyone gets hot you jump in the water get wet and continue on your way. The dry heat really cools you once wet.
I've tried to upload a running video but it doesn't show up. I'm using a Mac and Ive clipped it short enough, I think. Any ideas?

I have done willow beach, lake Mojave, the Topoc area and lake Mead but yet have not made it to lake Havasu, this is my 3rd boat, 1st was a slow ass pontoon, than a small white Rib with 30hp now the Bombard C4 with 50hp, I have my boat setup for swallow water use, only been on the water 4 times with it, when it warms up Lake Havasu is where I might head to.

Time to go!

I'm heading out to Havasu this next week to test some new props. If your interested in a trip this summer let me know. I go several times during the summer.
The temp now is 90-100 and the water is 75-80.

In my opinion, you’ve got the second best place to play on lakes in the world along with lake Powell.
The best is obvious to me but open to argument?
