so how much have you spent on boat gas this summer?

I thought this might make for interesting albeit
touchy subject matter...personally I have been putting in about $150 or $175 everytime I haul the boat to the ramp so I have limited the trips somewhat...I did burn all $450 dollars worth I put in two weeks ago over a sat-sun cruise... one tank actually ran out a 1/4 mile from my marina sunday evening... Half a grand for boat gas on a weekend... Who'd a ever thunk it? Oh well, some things a man just has to do... Anyone else care to comment on their experience at the gas pump?

Hi Pat
Come to Mexico. $2.60 per US gallon and my house is 5 mins. drive from the launch ramp.

At one pound forty a litre, I have no intention of keeping any records at all.

That equates to two US dollars seventy five a litre!

I think the boat has drunk £600-£700 so far, but that's cheap compared to what it costs to get to the water and my Friday night beer bill but don't tell the good lady

Most I've paid so far is £1.59 per litre on the water

oh, a lot less than I was hoping to. But if this f$8&##g weather clears up I'll soon remedy that. Currently running at €2.00/£1.60/$3.00 per Nm at sensible revs.... so hurting.

I'm guessing somewhere about $ 500 so far this summer (not including the tow vehicle consumpiton getting to and from places). I've put about 1000 km of water travel on the boat and motor so far this summer.

For the boat, probably in the neighborhood of $750 US. For the truck towing the boat to the ramp and home, probably closer to $1500. Which makes me glad I'm like JABS and don't keep track.
