Searider just arrived!

I just got delivery of my new winter project! A 5.4 Avon Searider!
If it looks familiar its beacause Kiwiboyd had it listed a month ago.
I had it shipped cross country from Annapolis MD to San Diego CA! That has got to be some kind of record!
I plan on having it in the water by the spring.
I originally thought about changing everything. Clearing the deck, painting everything black or grey, adding a bench and console.
After getting it today, I have decided to keep it original. It just looks so cool and I think it deserves to be put back to original specs.
I will keep you all updated on the progress.

Update

After going through the electrics and engine I moved on to the tubes.
It came with spare tubes but i have decide to refurb the originals and get a few more years out of them.
I removed the original rubber rub strake and added black hypalon.

RIBase
Avon off shore

Have had a lot of experience in your boat, very stable off shore. I am in San Diego, Vista ( 5 acres). Now own a rare RIB 17' Ex inland waterway Harbor Patrol boat. All 6061 t-6 Aluminum hull, with large diameter tubes. Boat completely Dissambled, everything in the boat was replaced with new, I started with a bare hull and tubes. Everything new was Heliarc welded and powder coated. All new wiring, fuel tank, console, steering front and rear seat, $5000.00 Stainless steel Arch, 75 hp 4 -stroke Yamaha, too much to list. Are you ready to go to Coranado islands yet. Let me know ROD North county 4nine7 3 eight 3 one
