remove 733 front tow post?

Hi,

I'm getting ready for the big flip and I want to remove the front tow post. I see lots of bolts but didn't know what hardware was on the other side. I see some but not sure what's attached and whats going to spin/fall off.

Thanks,
Jason

Depends most are just bolted on and the bolts are epoxyd thru the underside of the raised bow area. Dibs on it if its going into the dumpster!

I agree, they are relly hard to get out. Most likely you will have to drill out the hardware from the top. Those bolts are not going anywhere.
I want to put my name in the hat for that post once you get it off!
Im in San Diego, where are you?

Oh it's not going anywhere. I just want to flip the hull and it looked like life would be easier with it off. Maybe I won't mess with it. Maybe Ryan will chime in, I think he removed and replaced his, I'll go check his build thread now.

Just checked looks Ryan never took his out. I will have to deal with it.

It can't be easy. Mine was cut off by the navy before it was sold. Then again, it was used to mount a 50 cal.

FYI. if you leave it on with the transom cap their will be no glass touching which will make it much easier to prep/paint.

thanks all, i am just going to leave it on.

I hate not having any limitations to work with. every little thing can become a giant project. I need to get done with this or it's going to drive me, and all of you, nuts.
