Thanks Jason! I have been poking around the site for a while so I have seen yours and Ryan's work, very impressive! Appreciate the heads up on the trailer, I am submitting a bid request on uship to see how much to get it up here.

From my recent browsing on IDing the Volvo in my Hurricane, I think you have the AD41, 200hp. Should be easy to sell if you decide on OBs

Where is "up here"?

Congrats on the auction win; would love to do the same if I could (even almost) afford it.

Got my rib! Ended up having it shipped up (thanks Jason). She is in better shape than I expected, through my novice eyes. I think I will need new tubes though, these look original with several patches, frayed seams, and a gash in one. Any leads on where to get some? Looks like I also need a thermostat housing for the Volvo penta AD41P-A. The trailer is not too bad but huge! 31' aluminum triple axel. Needs one axle replaced and all new brakes and tires.

Congratulations on your "win".
Maybe shoot a PM to Todd or Ryan about the tubes.
I have a twin axle for my 7M, which is enough. If you have trailer fixed professionally, you are easily going to be over $3K. You might want to consider just buying another trailer. NCP had a turn key aluminum twin axle that his 7M was on.
Looking forward to your posts of bringing your boat to life.

Lets see that beast! If you can't easily get another set of tubes, the existing tubes might be salvageable. There's a few tube repair guys around here (Alameda and Richmond). For the Volvo parts, try the link below for the part number(s) you need then search google. You might find it cheap on eBay. I ended up getting the few parts I needed for my Volvo from eBay/Amazon/boats.net.

The beast

Here are some pics of my 733. There is a good size gash in the front tube and all seams are pretty frayed. Would taping the seams be recommended?
