Stellwagen is ~20 miles offshore from Marblehead give or take a few. I started another thread, which JK was mighty quick to make a sticky! Let's try to move this conversation to that thread.

No, it's not a bad ride towing a RIB, I make the trip to Newport an awful lot (Ft. Adams/Sail Newport). Usually about 1:45 to 2 hours. Though ~20 minutes of that is just navigating through NPT traffic, even coming in the back way. It's about 1/2 hour to the beach from when you hit the Ted Williams Tunnel.
