Ribcraft Mitigator

A rescue guy in Calif I just spoke w/ is tickled w/ his Ribcraft Mitigator. I looked at one, just to dream, when I bought my boat. If that won't work, try SafeBoat.com; they build for the Coast Guard, etc. Best of luck. j

We're that guy and yes we do love our Ribcraft Mitigator and a Ribcraft might fit your needs. Call us for full details or if you choose we can do it by PM here but I find a phone call is much more informative.

It would be nearly impossible to go wrong with any one of those three.

Good Luck & keep us informed!

And if you come to visit Ribcraft USA, send me a PM, they're in my town. I'll show you around.

Polaris

I would recommend that you talk to Guy (pronounced Gee) at Polaris. They can make a boat that is at least on par with a Zodiac Huricane and at a very competitive price.

Zodiac gets way too much p.r., there are a lot of good builders out there these days, many of them building boats as good or better than what Zodiac builds, which incidentally, is way overpriced. $205,000 for a 24 ft. C-27? Gee not too expensive.... Give me a break!
Some Makers of Quality boats: Nautica, Willard, Otech, Demaree, Liquid Metal, Polaris, Titan, Northwind marine, United States marine, Wing inflatables and so on, I may have missed a few.
Oh, by the way an interesting link for those of you out there looking and sick of high prices, don't know anything about these but it is worth a look,http://excedoboats.trustpass.alibaba...aster_600.html

IF you are looking for a boat... take your time, look around and Negotiate with the builder/dealer you might be surprised what kind of deal you can get.
Ribs might be hand built mostly but just because manufacturers haven't bothered with new manufacturing technology to lower costs that does not mean you have to pay through the nose, look around! an example http://www.nauticaintl.com/

Titans are now more expensive than zodiac hurricanes. you will find that the cost of hurricanes is alot cheaper than the cz7 not quite half but close to it. The cz7 is a hurricane put out as a pleasure boat.

That's good to hear, it really seems like they are gouging people on the price of the C-27. Half price would make a Zodiac doable for a lot more people.
