Need a Repair in Dallas, Texas!

I have a 9'2" Mercury RIB, and the Transom has separated from one of the PVC tubes. It is still under warranty, but there is no Mercury warranty repair dealer in Texas! So, Mercury told me to just find any marine dealer that would repair it, and they would cut them a check. However, I have yet to be successful in locating such a place in the Dallas area! Can anyone help me out?

Yeah, I have tried that, but can't find anyone closer than Houston. It is just hard to imagine that no one in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex can repair an inflatable!

How about putting it back on Merc to find you a repair shop (somewhat) nearby? After all, it's still on their ticket...

Yes, I guess that will be my next step, since I have not had any luck so far. Thanks!

Hi joyworks.

I know there is one in Arkansas I found for my mother. Like you, I had a little trouble finding one with Google. I used the terms "Search and Rescue", combined with the major brand names. Turned out their was one minutes from their house. They mostly work with lake patrols, fire departments, and such.

Good luck.
