im not putting alot of stress on my eye bolts there just holding on a vinyl cover .
I like the D rings to.
They could be made with some thin SS sheet metal folded thru the D ring then a double thickness tab left with a hole in it for the original bolt to hold it on.

I was able to get two and use them to attach my bow strap. I'd love to have a few more since I have a bra that I could put up there.

Chris, your d-rings were concentrated at the bow to hold a bra on but have been spread out to keep the tubes chaps on.
