How is it that the price is so low?? I have a copy of a 2003 price list from the previous zodiac dealer in Manitoba that lists a 15'5" Pro Open at $ 11,029 (boat only). They wouldn't negotiate their pricing either! (which is probably why they're now out of buisiness ).

I am calling in the moarning

Do not have any knowledge about this rib but going to call in the moarning.
If it seems good will take the 1 1/2 hr trip up to see them.
http://www.marinexboats.ca/ I went up couple times last year and they seem to know there stuff. If the 1 1/2 foot of ice leaves in the next 6 -8 weeks will make the trip up and maybe check out handling and motor. If you read this Stoo you said a friend was looking at a small rib I may have one for sale.

Bad timing... He just ordered a Bombard 18 footer from CO2 Inflatables...

As for the price, I was just looking at their site and there is a 15'5" Futura just above it. I wonder if they might have made an error... both boats are listed at the same price...

It appears to be a new boat and the engine alone must be worth almost that much. Me thinks this must be a "If it sounds too good to be true..." kinda thing.

As to the original post, this is pretty similar to my buddy's boat.

I had a bit of misgiving about the PVC Zodiac used, but he has had no problems with the tubes in, what, 4 years(?) of running it, often pretty hard.

He did have some problems with spider cracks at the transom corners, but I think that's pretty common in glass boats nowadays.

Six gallon tank? Not very big...

And, I agree with Stoo; price has to be wrong. I think my friends was closer to $20K US about four years ago.
