Stoo, you live so far away from the water, how do you cope?
You live at the red spot and I, of course, am green with envy...

Ah the limestone, I know it well, fortunately I have not yet kissed the limestone with a lower unit, many a prop or outdrive has met it's demise upon the unforgiving limestone reefs of the Great Lakes....(cross my fingers)

LOL... The guy who services my engine buys weld-on skegs for me by the 1/2 dozen. He's quite adept at whacking a new one on and painting it up, good as new. We spend a lot of time "gunk-holing" and squeezing into little bays to camp and let our dogs run... My extra-long shaft Yammy is an effective (but somewhat pricey) depth sounder for very shallow water!

Best of all, I'm only 5 doors from the liquor store, so no complaints! You could probably drive there in 4 or 5 hours Pat... It's a great area for boating and diving...

I have this boat on order Tony (used of course)... thanks for the advice. I don't take delivery until spring... Apparently there is a delay getting the submarine and the helis ready!
