humminbird 1197 , 997
has anyone used the 997 or 1197 to find objects in 150/200ft of salt water using the side band system. what size the object,how clear ect..?

Size on screen will be partly controlled by how "wide" you set the view.

My 797si won't read this deep, but its 1/2 the power of these larger units.
