Just wondering how many people (non european) check up on this forum, been pretty inactive myself the last few years... it seems viewership has dwindled significantly but maybe I am wrong about that?

I check almost daily and i for one have missed hearing from you and seeing pics of war machine. Up here in the NE we americans have so little time to boat with the nasty weather that we just cant keep a thread going. Good to hear from you though. when will you be bringing your boat up this way for a ride so I can drool over it?

I'm with LTF (aside from the weather thing). Check once or twice a day, unless I have no access to the net or my computer.

I check in on a regular basis, 2-3 time a week, although Michele has this crazy idea of trading Blue Moon toward a small trawler in the 25-27 ft range and touring the east coast or the icw.

Ribfan, its simple. you keep the rib and buy the trawler. the rib becomes your dinghy. If you remember in newport at the tall ships we found out there is no such thing as too large of a dinghy. you cant get rid of your rib. Your boat handles the seas better than a 30 foot trawler.

I'm here daily... this is the most comprehensive source of rib information in the world. Unfortunately, ribs just aren't as popular over here.

I'm not "American", although I live in North America.

I check the site once a week or so, however, I'm back to looking at older build posts every other day since the weather here has reached +40 Deg F. Time to go out to the garage and see where I left off before the winter.

I'm on here most days for something. I'm in the process of refurbing my rib, and this site is invaluble to me. Once spring/summer comes i'd definitely be interested in a meet in the north east. I'm in NJ, and I think there are at least a few others in the New England area.

Anyone??

Sitting in Connecticut. My rib is ready for the water just add gas. Most likely it will go in on Sunday for a bit.

Advantages to living where water doesn't get hard: I was out for a couple of days diving (and crabbing) last weekend. The diving was OK at best; crabbing was very good: between my buddy and myself, 4 pots yielded 25 legal Dungeness and a couple of rock crabs. Luckily, we had a third licensed guy, so we could keep the extra 5 (limit in CA is 10 Dungies per person.)

I have been somewhat indisposed lately (cancer treatment) so not much boating last year. Would love to get up to your neck of the woods for some boating but War Machine is either staying here on the Great Lakes or headed to southwest fla. I think I'll be hauling her down south as there is some pipe work I want done yet and my opinion is the best fabricators for this are down there.
Plus the boating, don't want to forget about that. I'll be putting up some pics of the old craft eventually as I will update my project boat thread. Thanks for the inquiry. By the way, once I get settled, your always welcome to a ride.

I've never posted here but have used this site often as it is a wealth of valuable information. I shopped around for a RIB about a year and finally picked one up that would fit in my garage and didn't need a truck to tow it. I use a Volvo S80 as my tow vehicle. I looked at many used but found they were all beat up and asking to much. Figured at this point in life I'd step up to the window and buy new. I'm very ashamed to say being here in SOCAL, I haven't been out in about 6 months, sick, yeah I know! When I do hit the water, I'm enjoying every second of it with 1 regret, wished I had bought one sooner!
