Flat out

6.3 Humber OP with 175hp opti. 52mph, 2up and 120litres of fuel, with tide.

Hits 50mph basically once trimmed out. Enough for us.

Arctic 22 with 2 x 150 Etecs, with 21" props will do 49 Kts one up in flat water, it gets a bit 'walky' at this speed, leaving your arse twitching like a rabbits nose.

I once hit upwards of 60mph (GPS) but that was hauling arse down the Niagara River...

Otherwise, if I have a wee chop, near empty fuel tanks, and nuthin much in the boat, I can just clear 50mph. More typically, a "quick cruise" is about 38 - 40 mph.
