This was a standard boat and engines, the only modifications were the gearboxes and props.

8m Hysucat - 2x 200 Mercury's (Standard), bullet nose racing gearboxes, low level water pickups, surface piercing props.

74knots / 85mph / 137kmph on final day of testing. Pretty sure it can make 80knots with jack plates on the transom.

What is the full specification of the boat you are describing ?

That sounds more like a truck .... than a boat.

That's cool, I've managed to get the same figures for the 8.5m Hysucat towing it behind the Jeep.

What size engines you running on the Osprey ?

Just realised my typo. 78kmh is 48mph. Thank you for being polite and not calling BS.

Thanks johndoe007, it was just that I originally wrote 58mph but had just converted wrong from kmh.

Now if I had a pair of your 315hp's I might get a bit closer.

Just tried my SR5 with Suzuki DF90. Got 39.8 knots, but The engine overreved with the original 19" propeller. Will probaly get some more knots with an optimum propeller
