Finally back on the water

After a sprained ankle, broken finger and having my gall bladder removed. I am finally back to boating again. My sister came up from Phoenix and I took her kids out on the water for a little fishing.

It was nice to get back out again.

Cheers!

Catch anything?

Not that it matters. It's the journey, not the destination.

Not that you have mentioned it....

I have been lucky the last few outings...

We caught a few trout on that trip. Nothing to really write home about. But...

I purchased a SIB/whitewater raft to run some of the local rivers. A RIB does not do well against rocks.

She's not much to look at but she gets the job done. I call her "Marilyn" the dirty blonde.

My Bombard is "Shelia". My wife doesn't like the names, but they bring me good luck.

Here are photos of my friend Mike and I a couple of weeks back fishing the river that Marilyn is pictured on. The one of me in the red shirt is the fish I caught that same day.

I'm well impressed with those fish. I would love to catch something like that.
