What tubes do you like better, the zodiac or the CPI tubes you put on the wonder Willard?

Really? I thought the CPI tubes with the individual inner bladders were a pretty cool idea.

How did the tubes from zodiac compare in price?

CPI, has a great concept but i dont like the fabric in Wings or CPI, i love Hypalon. The prices are comparable

PU in general or their specific fabrics?

PU is supposed to be tougher, hard to damage, right? It's harder to fix isn't it?

I've only had two hypalon boats and my current zodiac is probably some kind of record considering how old the tubes are. I'm planning for the future (and hopefully saving).

after patching the dozens of holes in my tubes the CPI setup looked really appealing.

So is PU bad in general, bad in your commercial setting, or just not your favorite? You have lots of experience so Id love details, come on, spill

I dont like how they patch, they are not friendly to humidity and are only superior in my mind when they are welded. hypalon is easy to repair and last longer in my opinion. If you have money for new tubes every 5 yrs then go wing or CPI, but if you need longer go Hypalon. This is what i have found in hight heat and humidity environments.

Very good info, thanks.

Aren't the CPI tubes welded? It all might be a moot point as I have no (money) idea if zodiac can do tubes for my old boat. It's pre733 so bolt on inside and out.
