its actually bent backwards, straight back, no up or down to it. Either way, not the easiest thing to bend.

Best to heat it with oxy acetylene then bend once hot enough. Just be careful not to overheat so it melts or tears when you bend it.

just update the transom cap issue-
Turns out the transoms on the Willard's are cut around the tubes where my Otech's is cut flat about 6 inches short which is why they created the curved outboard edge out of stainless. Hence the delay on posting more photos but after I saw this and the gap it left I decided to create the finished look and curve the outboard ends... Ugh... Change fee... $$$$

I decided to do the leaning post as well. I bought Boyd's full standing post and we cut the back legs off and re welded them to fit ontop of the hatch cover. And narrowed it by about 4 inxhes as it was off a zodiac 2800 and it was designed to go to the floor. The pad for it sits out about 4 inches which i ideal for standing and driving. it also came with a back rest which we customized to fit as well. Then sent it out with the cap for powder coat. It's all mounted with push pin quick detach pins.
