I am looking for advice on cleaning hypalon.

Builder said anything with bleach is a no-no.

North American product names preferred thx

10+ years of dirt ... shame, shame I know!

Bleach is fine, but it encourages oxidization and rust. Use sparingly.

Mr clean magic eraser and some degreaser.

Aurora Speed Clean is one of the best as far as as inflatable boat cleaners go. Does wonders on oxidized fabric.

It's traffic film remover. Wear gloves, it's a skin irritant.

Once you get the tubes clean, then try 3M UV hypalon and vinyl fabric conditioner to protect.

IIRC, TFR is not marketed in the USA under that description. And TT asked for American Brands (which makes sense).

It also makes some of the replies less than helpful/courteous. Telling people to use the search button is MY job!

I'm sure it's not beyond the whit of man to find out the US equivalent of TFR. I seem a similar thread a while back with the cousins & someone came up with the US name for the same stuff, now where's that search button........[emoji6]

Sometimes you have to use bleach especially if the hypalon or the rub rail have mildew and mold.
