Avon SR 4

Just picked up this former Coast Guard Avon SR 4. It is a bit different than most but pretty cool. It had a molded in bow locker, under deck rigging, and through hull depth sounder all which were factory installed. It also does not have the normal flooding hull. Gonna refurb it a bit then it will be for sale! Click image for larger version

This was a limited produced version for a USCG contract from what I have found.

Most are a glued on tube assembly.

Looks like bolts and a lace-on flange to me. Valves appear to be on the tubes like normal.

Yeah, worth while mentioning that as if it's taped on the flange and also has a tape laced up then that will be a third attachment point for the tubes and one that I've not seen before on an SR so an extra safety feature that I bet cost ££££
