46 mile run from Dana Point to Two Harbors Catalina Island. Held 25 knot cruise at 3500 rpm.

Looks to be about 2/3 of the 18 gallon Moeller tank. Works out to +/- 3.8 mpg. I brought 2 more 5 gallon jugs with me and there's fuel sold here at two different places on the island.

And that's a complete guess from the built in fuel gauge on a rocking boat.

Yes! Make the run from Ventura! Just talked to some people that did it this morning in about 3 hours.

We were planning on driving to San Pedro this morning but a friend convinced us to just get off the freeway and leave from Dana. Less time on the highway, more time on the water

"Get off the fwy at Dana. Less time on the Fwy, and more time on the water."

Sounds familiar.

Wife was ok with you taking the smaller boat?

Is this still available? Look for a boat for diving the Channel Islands.
