Any SIB cats in the Northeast USA

Newbee to this Forum. It's great thanks!
Just sold my fiberglass jet boat and was wondering about tunnel hulls (cat SID's).
I see some info on about the APBA racing SLT's but their never closer than Michigan (?)
Anyone around the Northeast U.S., specifically the Boston Mass area that uses, knows where to buy and/or sell or even where to see some cat hulls to formulate a plan for which one might be best for general blasting around on Boston Harbor?

Lot's of information on this forum, I'm going to enjoy it!

Look up " Fast Fred " in the members list on this message board and send him a PM. I believe he is in Massachussets. He races SLTs and is THE guru at modifying 2 stroke outboards. He is very highly regarded for his modifiedoutboards within the boat racing circles. He is also straight shooter who will tell you which hulls are quality and which are junk (there are some poorly built imitators out there).

He, and 'Ed the Duck' (also from this message board) were extremely helpful in helping me decide on what boat to get, and their advice turned out to be bang on.

Hey, thanks a lot! I know for a while Fast Fred was working just south of me but haven't heard from him for a while. I want to get some contacts together and see what my options are for the spring.

Some useful links...

With regard to SLTs, the best hulls are still the one that are made in South Africa (Gemini, Ceasar & Aquarius are the top 3 manufacturers). There was an Australian branch of Gemini that went rogue and started sourcing their SLTs from an asian plant and continue to market them as Gemini zapcats. From what I've read, they cost less than a real Gemini, but have nowhere near the same build quality. Here is Gemini's (South Africa) main website:

Here are the websites for the 2 North American Dealers of Gemini (Both are located in BC, both deal directly with the South African plant);
