Etch and paint it easier to maintain, once you get a bubble in the powdercoat you'll be painting it anyway

Do what you want to do, you can't refinish it once it's powder coated, I'm only giving you my 45 years of working experience, your choice

Aluminium Cabin respray

Jono- based on your other post I am guessing you bought the Sunrider zodiac??? I would suggest listening to guys like Biffer and RyanPratt. Although I do not know either one of them personally I can tell you I have never seen either one post bad advice and I have been working on inflatables for many years.

As many others can attest Ryan builds some of the sweetest ribs on this side of the pond. I am sure Biffer does the same.

Good luck with your project.

Thanks for the vote, there are plenty of people that will piss on your bonfire, usually not intentionally, I try to be as helpful as I can, life can be hard enough without going down the wrong road, specially when you can't turn round, as with powdercoat
