Advise Needed for New Zodiac Bayrunner 500

I am looking at buying a Zodiac Bayrunner 500 with a Yamaha 70hp and a Bimini Top. I would like to get some input from the forum members as far as this choice. The boat will be used for cruising, fishing and some skiing. The users will be 3 kids from 6 - 10 plus me and my wife.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Dont see why not..

Have never been in one but seams to be the same hull as the pro which i have run. A good all purpose fair/mid weather boat, great for a family rib!

Ryan,
The Bayrunner is the same boat as the Pro just that is all fitted inside. Thanks for your reply.

Hi,

I've got a Bayrunner 550 since november, launched it for the first time on may 5.

It's my first rib, but I must say I'm really impressed. Solid construction, confortable interior (however it's a bit tight with more than 6 passengers)

It's not a race rib however, more for cruising and exploration. Got about 37 mph with my 70hp Yamaha on calm waters.

Arterisk,
Did you order your Rib with any accessories? Is it worth ordering any. Bimini top, tow bar, etc?

No, took it stock. Paid 22k$ (canadian) for it (with the engine & trailer of course!).

I didn't wanted any accessories. There's pretty high wind over here and a Bimini top would have been useless.

The only one I considered was an A-frame but when you think about it it's kinda useless if you don't plan to mount a radar on you rib. (looks cool however)

Is yours a Bayrunner 500 or the 550? I am buying the 500 with a 70hp and I was asked 21K. Mine looks expensive.
