733 Family Boat Build ideas

Im playing with the idea of building a boat for my family and wanted to get peoples feedback on things they have done. please share pictures and thoughts.

My 3 ideas so far are an open transome with a 32" extension flexitteek decks and a doule station cc with a power pole and a single 250-300hp.

An easy way to board is key. Not sure if you need to go with the open transom but a good swim step would probably work.

bigtalljv has his Zodiac with a 250 Suzuki getting 50 with good mileage (way better than my friend with twin F150's at ~2.2 cruise).

Ryan- I had a customer with a Willard with a four stroke Yamaha 225hp. He was getting around 37-38 top end. It was all set up for towing so he was running a prop to give more Torque and not as concerned with top end speed. It also had a huge fuel tank from what I recall.

You guys are killing me. Lack of swimstep is the biggest downside to outboards.
