Powerboat Instructor Course - 29th Feb to 2nd March

Hi All,

We have a Powerboat Instructor Course running at Haslar Sea School over the above three days.

The Course is being run by Paul Glatzel, author of the RYA Powerboating Handbook, and will include coaching techniques and advice. Pre-requisites are:

• Minimum Age 16
• Powerboat Level 2 (we can arrange direct assessment)
• 5 years experience or 1 year as part of your job
• First Aid Qualification

The course retails at £495, but I would give any ribnet member a 10% discount. The course will include use of Diesel Engine, Tiller Steered, and Outboard Powered Craft.

If successful, once qualified you can then teach RYA Powerboat Levels 1 and 2 at RYA Training centres, as well as assess for International Certificates of Competence. If you already hold the certificate, you would also be able to teach the Safety Boat Course.
