How do I repair cosmetic gelcoat nicks and scratches ?

Q How do I repair cosmetic gel coat nicks and scratches ?

A Minor scratches can often be polished out, deeper scratches and nicks need to be filled.

You can buy gel coat filler from chandlers. If your hull isn't white then it might be worth trying to get a small amount of gel coat from your RIB manufacturer so you get an exact colour match.

Clean and key damaged area
Fill scratch with gelcoat
Tape over to keep inplace
Fine wet and dry followed by Feracla cutting compound
Polish

You wouldn't know it was there!
