Right I now know the light blue, green , and red loom from controls is for extra switch and can forget about it!!!
So will get pics today of the two leads coming from engine that have connectors on that plug into lcd marine meter!
Also have 2fuse harnes that links loom from 703 control throttle to tachometer!
I think from what I've found out guys on yamaha outboard forum I may be alright??? What you think????

I've had a look at some bits in the office and the new control loom might have some trim wires in it and you could be right that them others are spare, I can't see how this will help you though as your engine is still older style.
Just plug it in before you mount it and see what works

Yes that's what I found in the office late last night, have you got that second loom that goes to the gauges. Have you got the plug on the outboard to plug that second loom in

Will need to take closer look but I know that aswell as the main 10pin cable there is 2 small leads one is flat they both have the push fit connectors that match into the guage I have

Half way there then, plug it all in where they fit and see what happens, take it from there
