Maybe a tarnished CD then John?

Okay
On the record theme old technology etc.
If you lot are trying to make those of us who still like to think of ourselves as young, feel old :
Who's still got their 8 track player??
Who can still opperate an HP floating point computer with shanrock tapes?
and who's father-in-law has offered you a seagull as a get you home when you bent your drive leg?

I can claim at least two, does that make me old??

Some interesting points you make there Garf!
How many threads on other radio's that are faulty?
How many other manufactures come any of the forums and tell you how to get their kit fixed?
How many of thos half a dozen threads about Icom are actually down to the kit being faulty?

Best regards
BTW I do frequent YBW too!

Well it could have been so much worse, but thankfully those volunteer Paramedics were on the scene very quickly and saved me. Top blokes all of them

Now Jon, about my free 421 upgrade less I end up buying a 503 off some dodgy geezer on e bay.
