Found the problem.
The rectifier is knackered! My brother has spent all day going through every wire.
Now, where the hell do I get one from and how much is it going to hurt?

Anyone know of a rectifier of another make of outboard, later Yam or motorbike that would fit with the connections?

Oddly enough, I've got one of those sat under my desk here at work, whats it worth to a fellow Ribnet member? 50 including the wiring block, stator, 4 spare coils et al?
