What size batteries??

I'm in the middle of a refit of my 7.2m ballistic. It's got a 150hpdi on it and the batteries are well and truly fried.

I've got the old ones out and they seem to be only 75ah. I've seen a guide that says I need at least 110ah.

Is 75ah sufficient for is size set up or should I go bigger??

Thanks in advance
Craig

I wouldn't concern yourself too much about Ah for the engine battery, what is more important is the cca (cold cranking amps) that your engine manf recommends for your particular engine.

If space wasn't an issue Id opt for 110ah for aux battery.

i've got the same engine on a 785 ribeye, 110ah just over 900cca. I'd personally always prefer more battery rather than less battery power if your alternator is up to it. I'm just about to refit mine with twin 110ah batteries!
