Rule 1100 Does the job of keeping the boat dry for normal use and sitting on a mooring, however if you take a wave over the back I drop the elephants trunk, nothing beats that for sheer water removal...

If you're hose piping as much green as these guys you can forget bilge pumps. In fact, you can forget bothering with a transom; it'll just prevent water getting off the deck -

Exactly! Nice boat; Ocean Dynamics tend to omit transoms as well (doesn't mean you pay less of course!).

I have an Attwood 1250gph pump but it is still sitting in the garage a year after getting it

It does mean I am prepared for flooding though
