Thank you Garmin.

Phoned Garmin today to enquire about repairing my damaged connector which I knocked into on the Anglesey cruise and I was told that on this occasion they will repair it under warranty free of charge. Now that's what I call bloody good customer service

Nice one. I know you were a bit mad about it on Saturday.Mine all fixed too. Same unit but all that was wrong was a connection worked loose inside console.

Just a quick update!! my 551s arrived this morning fixed and all nice and shiny. Thanks again to Garmin for a superb after sales service.

Good result mate Better service that I got 3 years back from Lowrance they just would not take it back for a 'look see' but wanted to sell me a refurb job
So took it local guy had it back in days OK
