I had a SS one made Matt at steel fabrication company I just went on the net & found a company local to me I already had a back plate I need a polished one made for the front of the console for the helm to sit in to because the console was splitting its made it a lot stronger now & looks great

Hi Andy. ive just fitted the new helm and i don't have a back
plate at all, it doesn't really need it but it would look tidier and would as you say be alot stronger.. I will call the guys tomorrow and see if one is available.

Cheers dude

Have you got the dimensions of the plate you need (Inside and Outside diameter). I'm pretty sure I have some stainless rings still kicking around the garage that might be about the size you want.

Just checked 115mm Outside and 85mm Inside about 2mm thick, if it's any good just PM me your address.
