Standard Horizon Speaker Mic vs VOX headset?

Hi
I want to get a remote mic for my Standard Horizon HX751. The two main options seem to be either the MH-73A4B submersible speaker mic or the VC-24 VOX headset.

Does anyone have experience of using either of the above and are there any pros and cons of either that I might not think of?

The obvious one is that the speaker mic is submersible and I don't think the headset is.
Thanks.
Trev.

I use a speaker mike on my icom. The radio and mike are attached to my life jacket. I like it the mike is right by my ear and when you have a few people on board talking you hear thinks that you would miss otherwise

With the Vox you can end up transmitting stuff you maybe didn't want to.
