Hi

Have a skim of my recent thread here.

Which fixed VHF, ICOM or SH?

I asked about the 1600 and was advised to go for the 1700 with built in gps however some people seem to have fogging up issues with them.

I didn't want to take the risk in the end so just ordered an icom M323. I'd also add that I gave Mike a call at South Coast Marine about some other bits, engine manual and oil etc. and he did me a very good deal on the Icom as well (although it will take a few days to arrive).

Cheers
Rob
