The yellow band means you do have a resistor so no need to put one in the junction box

Worth checking you have got one at the other end though.

Tan/blue and purple are for the warning horn. You've probably got a few of these, they're usually found at the end of each drop cable to your gauges as well as on the main ignition harness. You only need one horn, attached to any pair of tan/blue purples, the rest can just be taped up.
