Well, my pile of poo has been working fine since 2003...

I believe they are still available but rebadged. Can't remember the name though.

When they came out at first they failed regularly along with the S12.
I went through three S15's and a S12 in less than three months, all failed.
I eventually got all my money back and bought Icom and haven't had a minutes bother in the last 5 years.
It was not uncommon to have problems if you check back through the various forums, lots of folk had them fail very quickly on them.
