I bought a Silva S15 (June 03) and had the same problem that a lot of people had with the screen packing up
so I sent it back two weeks ago under warranty.
A brand new one has just arrived in the post
Now I know that some people have had problems with Silva but I call this real service.
Out of interest I rang and spoke to Silva to find out if the warranty for this radio ran for two years (as before) or only for the remaining 7 months of the previous warranty.
They are sure it is the latter but it strikes me that if there radios are good enough to have a two year warranty in the first place why wouldn’t they be able to offer it on the replacement one
and are they right because this a new radio and not a repaired one
