As the grey matter steps in i thought id run my set up past the ribnet tekies.

Northstar 725e vhf
Green nmea in- from gps
oOrange nmea out+ to gps
yellow nmeain+ from gps
black nmea out- ground

garmin 450.
blue nmea 1 out

I want to show gps position on the vhf for dsc operation, and i want the plotter to recieve gps position data from other calling vessells.

am i right in my thinking?

orange out from vhf to brown in on plotter

yellow in to vhf to blue out from gps

green in -vhf to black gps- to ground.
