route format Navigationplanner / Garmin Homeport

Hello ,
On my Vipermax I have 2 plotters installed - a Garmin 720s and a Raymarine E7 .
Usually when I go fishing or boating in areas I know well I use the Garmin for navigation and the E7 as a sounder .
On long distance cruises it would be great to have the routes saved on both devices so if one plotter fails I can simply use the other one .
The problem is that the navigation planner route format is .rtl while Garmin creates routes in .gpx format .
In order not to plan the same route in 2 different programs - is there any way to convert .rtl into .gpx or vice versa ??
Thanks in advance .

Is that^^^^ the list you need or the formats that GPS babel supports? The latest version supports Garmin & Raymarine

I downloaded the program and you were right - a lot of Garmin formats are supported but the .gpx I could not find yet .
Raymarine is also listed but not with .rtl but with .rwf
Think I will just try and see whether it works ..

Hi Jurgen
Here are the output options for Navigation Planner - maybe you can find a way of going from one of them to the GPX format rather than directly from the .rtl (The Simrad uses the .usr format rather than the planning software's native .rtl)

Homeport has the option to export in *.csv format (excel). I'm sure that Navplanner could import excel files, but it's a long time since I used it so could be wrong. Excel might be the Rosetta stone.
