Retro fitting a kill cord

Hi,

My throttle doesn't have a killcord fitted so I want to fit one. I can't seem to find any kits that would allow me to fit one.
Other than breaking another throttle and robbing it for bits I'm not sure what to do?

Just found one on good old ebay!

Chewy
Merc/mariner make an external kill cord switch for dashboard mounting all wired up, with instructions on how to enter it into the loom. About £20 I think but that was a few years back, I replaced the chatty unit on my boat with this style as its basically a toggle switch so if you loos the kill cord a finger will get you back in play to go do the rescue.

Thanks Jelly, just sold a Mariner with this setup, it was good.
I'll just use a tie wrap if I lose the kill cord whilst on board. I need to see if I have a spare kill cord first?
