Well taken the plunge… ordered one of these.

Couple of thins to think about.

The Icom and the Standard both come with 3 year warranty, that tells you something about them!

The HX-270 just got voted "Best on Test" in PBO in a review of all hand held radio's on the market.

M71 is a good set but no option for AA batteries.

Feel free to come and try our radio's at the boat show if you are visiting.

Also if you looking for a fixed set the GX-1500 is being sold at the boat show or via dealers for 99 inc vat!!!!
Just for the boat show period only

Cheers

Birmingham Show

Jon,

Will you by chance be at the Birmingham show also? I need to look at the GX-1500 with remote mic to install on my rib and possibly a ext speaker also.

Also looking at chartplotters/fishfinders(just for depth) also.

Regards

Andy

Hi Andy,

We hve no plans to be at the show.
The only chance of these offers being there is if one of our dealers has a stand and also LIBS offer stock.

We will be ending these offers to our dealers on Jan 31st 2008.

All the best

I went for the Icom in the end as it felt really nice in my hand and very well made and I like the idea of the 6watts transmit power.

I also got a really good deal at the boat show of 130.00
