Radar reflectors
Just bought my tri-lens - wild looking thing. Supposed to work very well and will look seriously cool on an A frame - all I need now is the boat to bolt it to!!!
Got to be a bit sad to be playing with a radar refelctor!!!
Cost about £120 from my local chandler - they ordered it direct from Viking for me - it's not even on Viking's website!!! Nobody seemed to have heard of it. i went for the middle sized one - supposed to be for boats over 30' but the little one looked too small.
Looks FAR easier to mount than any of the others - there is a threaded pipe right through the middle of it - just bolt to the A frame - you can even put a rope through it and hoist it up a mast if you have one....
Doesn't look right mounted on a mast though!!!.
