But there black & white! I had in my head I wanted colour because it's better or is black & white good enough for me to do a bit of fishing every now and then? Also what can a colour one do that a black & white can't ?
Thanks russ

Forgive me for being blunt but have you tried lookin for yourself. I've just googled it while not even moving from my cuppa and come up with hummingbird 345 cx. I don't think there are many people on here who could say one way or another if these are any good but the brand has been about for ever

most fishfinders dont find fish..... i use a garmin colour but used a lowrance black and white for years, colour is very good for showing pinicles and drop offs if drift fishing, black and white are great units and have and wiil be used for years to come.. dont use the fish symbols on colour or black and white they give you the impression that you are fishing on top of a shoal of tuna....try a kayaking site for info on fitting a portable finder.
