Right here are some pictures.

The bullet speakers have actually turned out bigger than I thought but they are surprisingly light.

Hi CJL

My Ribtec seems to have the exact same deck configuration as yours. The stereo in mine is a regular Sony unit - not the marine type. It is mounted inside the console but is controlled by a remote joystick.

The 6x9's on mine are mounted in the two sides of the front seat. Excellent bass response, but ideally you need the tweeters higher up - preferably at the front either side of the bow locker if you can sort out the cabling.

I know that this will sound dumb, but can you rig the stereo so that it mutes when the VHF pipes up? It depends where you are I guess, but you should be on 16 and probably the local VTS channel.

God I'm sad...I'll get me coat!

A-ha!

I asked the very same question of an electronics geek friend of mine, and it just so happens that his company produces such a device for 'Autoleads'

hairy arsed northern tart

Chris,

When you gonna finally get ur arse into gear and bring that pimped up rib of yours down to Jersey???
Maybe you should get some pink lifejackets for your crew?? Also i reckon one of those 80's disco balls should make good radar reflector??

There a number of wakeboarding boats down here fitted with similar speakers and serious sound systems that can be heard from a mile or so away with our engines running!!! Will certainly go down well on the Thames on New Years Eve ?? do they have laws about such things as disturbing the peace when on the thames??

Hope u and crowd are keepin well!!

Cheers
karl
