Yep,

585. We could shout at each other but just looking at things to make talking to people in the back easy.

A lot of US Poker run boats have communications in the form of headsets with windproof mikes on them, but they cost the earth (and aren't designed to get wet either!) - I really do not see any way of doing this cheaply and pretty waterproof - we have done a fair bit of research on this for the race boat, and it isn't easy with a helmet to hide it all in!

ps I have a brand new box and mikes and headsets, but they wouldn't be any good for you I think ..........

Its just something I keep looking in to every now and again. Someday an appropriate item will be manufactured.

DS Developments can supply you with :

Advantage single sided headset with boom mic elasticstrapping with cable and plug. This could be suited for fixed radio or handheld which you could have in the pocket of your dry suit. This is the alternative to the expensive military headset.

I have supplied a number of these headsets to order and no complaints
