New tracker product...
Track and React
We have not had confirmation of pricing yet, but the specs look good.

Apart from the water resistance, it looks like a repackaged xexun tk102. The features are identical.

The key problem is the battery life...how often does it need to be charged? If thieves nick the package from the garage whilst you are on holiday and disconnect the battery, then how long the unit can survive on its own battery until you return back home and start locating it? or is it dead by then....?

"External DC power supply" If it's like the Xexun, you connect the DC power supply to the boat battery & it keeps the tracker charged. It will run for months off the boat battery. If you keep the boat batteries on a charger whilst parked up at home (I do) no problem with the tracker battery. The tracker battery on its own, lasts about 3-4 days.

I'm somewhat disillusioned with GPS trackers, although I can't think of an alternative. If I've heard about GPS Jammers, so have the criminals, so no point scolding me about this post...
Are there trackers that have an option to transmit an alert if GPS coverage is lost, initiating a response? Or activate a relay - tripping Bells & Whistles or a concealed PLB....
Ebay, £12, incl P&P

best is 240 volt cable wrapped around all moving parts!( like ring main without a RCB or fuse ! I know this is pretty shocking solution...

There's some debate on whether the jammers work. Some do, some don't.

Willk - The cheap TK102 claims to "Send the last location if it enters into the blind area" assuming you normally get good gps signal at storage location, that would alert you to a likely issue - but not where it was headed. Presumably there are GSM jammers available - but that might have downsides (no personal comms for the thief; possibility of upsetting people who then investigate etc).

Indeed. Having said what I said, I think that there are things one could do the reduce the jammers ability to piss on yer parade. Now, I'm NOT gonna talk about that on here...
