Damn wish I'd thought of that earlier

Replacement Bulbs?

Just come across these guys, no experience of them; they seem to be aimed at the yacht market, but they claim to provide LED replacement bulbs for incandescents............

A lot of those look exactly the same as the ones that come from China on ebay at 3.50ish for 2 of them.

Apparently the Osculati range of Nav lights both LED and non LED are very good value and well made.

Well, reading all this, I'm glad I saved some money and went for ordinary 20 nav lights and didn't bother with the squillion pound LEDs

You only have to look at some of the new fangled LED tail lights on modern vehicles, and how many of the individual elements in the lights often don't work especially on commercial vehicles like buses, to see they aren't particularly reliable even on dry land. Shame, as I like the idea, but the idea for me would be to have something that lasted for ages which doesn't seem to be the case.

Must admit I'm tempted to try some of the Searolf ones, must fire up my Ebay account...

Thanks for all the advice chaps, so thats exactly what I've decided to do .. go for a cheap set of Aqua Signal 25 lights and try the LED replacement "Festoon" lights, if they don't do the job, I can return to the original lamps, but worth a go me thinks...

I bought some replacement bulbs for the interior of my wife's yacht (Old Sigma 33) and they work great. Careful of the colour of everything - regular bulbs and LED's have a different colour to them which may have odd effect when put behind a coloured lens - check first!
