still waiting for MMSI number!!

contacted ofcom today, unreal, my account had vanished of the system, and nil record at all, unbelievable!
Have Given Up trying for a number!! aagghh!!

I just went to register my VHF online and was astonished, after entering my details, to be told that I could complete the registration after they had sent me a letter through the post in about 5 days time!

They are undoubtedly making progress, but I get the feeling that they may not quite have fully engaged with the internet just yet . . .

i know what you mean, im still waiting for my letter from 3 weeks ago, but i dont exist on their computer,so i guess it aint gonna come! oh what fun!

logon arrived 3 days registered

filled in slightly over complicated form ! (was tempted to register my Medline as a warship but decided against it)

managed to extract licence number call sign and mmsi before site locked me out and still unable to print off due to pop up blocker

but ive gone through the motions

i got it , i rang up and got then to got them to talk me through it, i reckon it would be easier to re wire the space shuttle than work that internet site!!

I think all the Government websites work like that - Tax, VAT etc all do the same with the posted logon. I suppose it at least proves you have some connection with the address you have given.

Not tried the VHF online yet, but it sounds like it's easier to do your tax return online!

The car tax one was really simple, but then they have already sent you the ID document.
